Position Overview:

As an Email Campaign Developer at World Vision, you will play a pivotal role in driving engagement, mobilizing support, and advancing our mission of overcoming extreme poverty. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Technology, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and execute impactful email campaigns that resonate with our donors and supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Campaign Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into strategic campaign plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Technical Implementation: Utilize marketing automation platforms to design, build, and implement complex multi-channel campaigns, ensuring seamless integration across email, direct mail, phone, SMS, and push notifications.
Content Creation: Develop and optimize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email content, employing best practices to enhance deliverability, engagement, and conversion rates.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of email templates across various platforms, devices, and screen sizes to identify and address rendering issues, broken links, and other technical glitches.
Partnership Management: Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and suppliers to execute tactical marketing activities and ensure timely delivery of campaign assets.
Technical Expertise: Provide guidance and support to marketing teams on the effective use of marketing automation platforms, offering insights into best practices and innovative strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, technology, or a related area.
Proficiency in HTML/CSS development for email campaigns.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with JavaScript, REST web services, and SQL queries.
Experience with email coding standards, deliverability optimization, and dynamic content personalization.
