Duties and Responsibilities

As a Junior Researcher at UNCTAD, you will be responsible for a range of duties designed to support the organization’s mission and the specific project on e-commerce capacity building in Botswana. These responsibilities include:

1. Support for E-Academy and Online Courses

  • Development and Coordination: Assist in the development and coordination of e-learning modules and online courses aimed at Botswana entrepreneurs and policymakers. This involves working closely with subject matter experts to create engaging and informative content.
  • Implementation: Support the implementation of these online courses, ensuring that they are delivered effectively and meet the learning objectives. This includes managing the e-learning platform, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to participants.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor the progress of participants, evaluate the effectiveness of the courses, and suggest improvements based on feedback and observed outcomes.

2. Capacity Building

  • Training and Workshops: Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops for Botswana entrepreneurs and policymakers. These sessions will focus on enhancing their skills and knowledge in e-commerce, helping them to better integrate into the digital economy.
