Transform Lives with World Vision: Join Us in Building Secure Livelihoods for Children
World Vision is a global Christian relief, development, and advocacy organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children worldwide. With over 70 years of experience, World Vision focuses on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. We help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places, inspired by our Christian faith.
Our Mission and Values
Our vision is for every child to experience life in all its fullness. We believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our work is guided by the following core values:
- We are Christ-centered: We follow Jesus’ example of unconditional love and serve all people, regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
- We are child-focused: We prioritize the needs of children, ensuring they are protected and their basic needs are met.
- We are committed to partnership: We work with communities, governments, and other organizations to create lasting change.
- We are advocates for justice: We speak out against injustice and work to create a world where everyone has equal opportunities.
- We are stewards: We manage our resources responsibly, ensuring they are used effectively to benefit those in need.
- We are accountable: We are transparent in our actions and accountable to our donors, partners, and the communities we serve.
Join Our Team
World Vision employs about 400 staff in Vietnam, where our work focuses on children, ensuring they are protected and their basic needs are met. We operate in 25 Area Programs (AP) in 4 zones: North 1, North 2, Central, and South. Our APs usually focus on one administrative district of a province populated by ethnic minority people with high rates of poverty. Our Development Program Approach (DPA) is unique in that AP team members are based at the district level, enabling them to work closely with government partners and communities on a daily basis.
Under the support of World Vision United States (WVUS), World Vision Vietnam will implement the THRIVE 2030 – Building Secure Livelihoods (BSL) Project in 25 existing and 6 potential APs. The project aims to improve economic empowerment and the accessibility of financial services for the most vulnerable households in target communities.
