Salary Range: £56,875 – £66,354 annually

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of new research projects, including writing study protocols and analysis plans.
Engage with international and local scientific partners to enhance research credibility and uptake.
Contribute to funding acquisition and ethical approval processes for new studies.
Supervise in-country research teams and oversee the planning and implementation of studies.
Provide training and support to field teams on data collection and monitoring.
Perform data analysis using Stata or R and write peer-reviewed manuscripts.
Present findings at conferences and collaborate on external communication efforts.

Requirements:

Masters/PhD in Public Health, Nutrition, or related field.
6+ years (Masters) or 4+ years (PhD) of experience in health/nutrition research project design and implementation.
Experience in community-based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM) is strongly preferred.
Strong data analysis skills and experience with statistical software (STATA or R).
Proficiency in English and working proficiency in French.
Willingness to travel up to 30%, including to IRC country offices and field sites.
