Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Project Assistant, you will be at the core of implementing and supporting the EGG Project. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Technical, Administrative, and Logistical Support
- Assisting the Project Manager and team in executing project activities.
- Reviewing studies, reports, and relevant materials to enhance project outcomes.
- Coordinating and organizing workshops, training sessions, seminars, and official visits.
- Managing travel and logistical arrangements in accordance with UNDP’s protocols.
- Facilitating communication between project stakeholders and maintaining an efficient information flow.
- Maintaining project files and ensuring documentation is up to date.
2. Business Process & Quality Assurance
- Supporting the selection and recruitment of consultants in compliance with UNDP’s policies.
- Assisting in financial administration, preparing payment requests, and ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- Managing interpretation and translation services as per business needs.
3. Gender Equality & Inclusivity Support
- Ensuring gender-sensitive approaches are integrated into project implementation.
- Collecting and analyzing gender-disaggregated data for reporting and decision-making.
- Supporting gender mainstreaming in project evaluations and audits.
4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Assisting in drafting reports, compiling data, and contributing to performance analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with UNDP’s operational frameworks, policies, and internal control measures.
- Supporting the implementation of a robust monitoring and evaluation plan.
5. Knowledge Management & Capacity Building
- Organizing capacity-building activities for project staff and partners.
- Managing databases and ensuring project documentation is well-organized.
- Contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives and advocacy efforts.

What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Economics, Law, Political Sciences, or Social Sciences, with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma with five years of relevant experience in project administration or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
- Strong ability to compile and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Experience in business process implementation and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and budget management is a plus.
Soft Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to take initiative.
- Experience in working in multi-cultural and international settings.
