Education and Certification:

  • Preference for applicants with at least 4 years of postdoctoral training.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in project development and execution in agriculture, forestry, or fisheries.

  • Strong record of academic or applied research, ideally with publications or evidence of scientific impact.

  • A current contract with your employer that ensures continued affiliation upon completing the fellowship—or a written guarantee of ongoing collaboration—must be provided.

  • Note: Candidates who previously received a CRP Fellowship may reapply, but only 5 years after their previous award.


Additional Information

Funding & Duration:

  • Fellowships range from 6 to 26 weeks.

  • Three key funding components:

    • Travel allowance for a return economy class plane ticket.

    • Weekly subsistence allowance of approximately €600–650, depending on host country cost of living.

    • Terminal allowance of €165 to cover local transportation costs to and from the host institute.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant’s home institution must be located in one of the 30 CRP member countries, and the hosting institution must be in a different CRP member country.
