The Opportunity:

As a Project Officer, you will be the frontline support, leading community engagement and activities at the grassroots level. You will collaborate with specialists to deliver high-quality, technically sound initiatives that foster project ownership among stakeholders. Your role will involve conducting participatory situational analysis and consultations, designing and facilitating capacity-building activities, implementing inclusive and gender-transformative approaches, and providing regular project updates.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a university degree in Social Work, Social Science, Community Development, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of three years of experience in community program implementation or two years in implementing DRR projects. You should be knowledgeable in DRR, Climate Change Adaptation, childrenโ€™s rights, gender equality, and inclusion, with relevant skills in community organizing and participatory appraisal. Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds are essential. Applicants must be based in the Philippines and Filipino nationals.
