Tasks

The selected consultant will:

• Pre‑Workshop Preparation: Study the existing Transformational Strategy (2023–2027) document and related institutional materials to understand current goals, timelines, and strategic priorities.

• Facilitate a Two‑Day Strategic Workshop: Lead discussions with an internal committee to:

  • Review achievements against strategic goals,

  • Identify emerging challenges or gaps,

  • Brainstorm recommendations for refining goals, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Recommendation & Action Plan Development: Guide the committee to develop:

  • Practical, actionable recommendations,

  • Adjusted timelines, objectives, or implementation approaches as needed,

  • A revised action plan aligned with WUA’s vision and the regional educational landscape.

• Report Writing: Compile a comprehensive Mid-Term Review Report capturing:

  • Workshop insights,

  • Analytical findings,

  • Strategic recommendations,

  • Updated action steps and responsibilities.

The consultant will lead the process, ensuring clarity, structure, and strategic relevance throughout.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Master’s degree or higher in Strategic Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a closely related field.

Experience

Applicants should demonstrate:

• At least 7 years in strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation—preferably in higher education or institutional transformation.

• Proven ability to facilitate strategic workshops with senior stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

• Delivery of value-driven work and clear alignment with institutional vision.

Supporting Documents

• Provide a sample of a recent strategic report (mid-term review, strategy, or similar).

• Include references for at least three strategy-related assignments completed since 2022, detailing:
