Job Description:

We’re seeking a talented Customer Care Officer to join our team in Kigali, Rwanda. As a Customer Care Officer, you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, opening new accounts, and promoting our products and services. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with accurate information and support to meet their banking needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open new accounts and explain our products and services to customers
  • Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs
  • Process account activities, resolve problems, and determine balances
  • Promote and cross-sell our products and services
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to general enquiries
  • Explain in detail all the VFR’s products and services available to customers
  • Assist customers in completing and capturing the CIF, taking the initial deposit, image capture and registration
  • Ensure all documents are submitted in proper form and authorized before proceeding to open the account

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (written and spoken)
