About the Role

The Technologist will join Amnesty Tech’s Security Lab and conduct investigations into surveillance technologies used against human rights defenders, journalists, activists, and civil society organizations.

The role focuses on uncovering unlawful surveillance practices and developing tools that help protect individuals and organizations from digital threats.

Key Responsibilities

Surveillance Research

The successful candidate will:

  • Investigate unlawful targeted surveillance campaigns.

Digital Investigations

Responsibilities include:
